Visit to ESIC Regional Office, Grant Lane, Kolkata – 9th March 2026

A visit to the ESIC Regional Office at Grant Lane, Kolkata, was undertaken on 9th March 2026 along with Prof. Shyam Pingle, marking an important engagement with key stakeholders in the area of social security and labour welfare.

The interaction focused on strengthening collaboration in the domains of Occupational Safety & Health (OSH), Social Security (SS), and Labour Laws (LLs), with emphasis on capacity building, awareness initiatives, and policy-level coordination. Discussions also explored opportunities for joint programs, training sessions, and institutional partnerships to enhance outreach and impact among workers and employers.

The visit reflects a continued commitment to building strong institutional linkages and advancing initiatives that promote worker welfare, safety standards, and effective implementation of labour regulations.
